About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and scale-up of mechanochemical process equipment. You’ll work at the interface of mechanical design, process engineering, and industrial-scale deployment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop mechanical equipment and machinery for mechanochemical processes
• Lead scale-up of equipment from lab to pilot and industrial scale
• Collaborate with external partners and suppliers on machine design and manufacturing
• Support pilot plant construction, commissioning, and maintenance
• Contribute to process automation and predictive equipment modelsWork closely with process and materials engineers on
integrated system design
Requirements
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Strong expertise in equipment/machine design and mechanical systems
• Experience with pilot plant or industrial-scale equipment is a plus
• Familiarity with automation and process engineering is an advantage
• Proactive mindset, comfortable in a startup environment
• Candidates must have a valid visa or residence permit for Germany
